From Father’s Desk

Dear Parishioners:

October seems to have flown past, and here we are now embarked on November, soon it will be Thanksgiving, then Advent, then the great joy of Christmas, and a new year…. We’ve got some good stuff to do though as we speed through our days. The greatest thing we can do is slow down — and pray. In the month of November we begin by celebrating our fellowship with the Saints, and then continue celebrating and praying for all our beloved dead on the Feast of All Souls, and we keep them in mind all of November.

Next Friday we remember Veterans, and that weekend we’ll have a special second collection for our Armed Forces Chaplains. In between times we’ll perform our civic duty and vote. I hope you’ve had time to pray a lot of rosaries in October, and are continuing to pray the rosary for ourselves and our country — we all need it.

Love and Peace,
Fr. Liam Quinlan
