“Saint Joseph was a just man, a tireless worker, the upright guardian of those entrusted to his care. May he always guard, protect, and enlighten families.” ~ St. John Paul

Dear Parishioners:

Always in the midst of Lent we are given 2 beautiful feasts to celebrate: St Patrick and St. Joseph. Our last two Pontiffs were baptized with the name of Our Lord’s foster father Joseph. Both have promoted devotion to this humble and loving saint. Saint Joseph is especially helpful for fatherhood, family and work issues. I commend to you the following prayer, especially to be offered for a particularly distressing or thorny problem.

Dear Saint Joseph, you have power to render possible even things which are considered impossible, come to our aid in our present trouble and distress.

Take this concern under your particular protection, that it may end happily. (Name your request)

O dear St. Joseph, all our confidence is in you.

St. Joseph, friend of the Sacred Heart, pray for us.

Love and peace,

Fr. Liam Quinlan
